We're looking for a modern web designer to lead our web design fulltime. Our vision is to offer wikis that are as easy to make as a peanut butter sandwich, so if you love clean, simple design that's focused on regular web users (not Web 2.0 geeks), we'd love to talk to you. Design responsibilities will include simplifying our current interface, shaping future design of PBwiki--both product and messaging--and implementation. You will set the signature style of the company's ongoing visual style and your work will be seen daily by hundreds of thousands of people.
We take your portfolio and past experience seriously. The ability to manage design from concept through sketching, storyboarding, Photoshop, and HTML mockup to engineering pass-off and deployment is a plus. Experience with Web 2.0 applications, AJAX, DHTML, CSS, and a rabid love of beautiful minimalism a huge plus.
Please email iwanttowork@pbwiki.com with a link to your portfolio and a link to your wiki. Awesome work under your belt speaks louder than any degree.
This is a fulltime position in San Bruno (right by SFO) and comes with benefits and stock options. We offer relocation assistance for extraordinary designers.
PBwiki is the largest wiki host in the world. We host millions of users, over 200,000 consumer and business wikis, and our wikis are as easy to make as a peanut butter sandwich. We're a startup with 6 fulltime employees, and a solid, fast-growing revenue base. PBwiki has been featured in Boing Boing, the New York Times, PC World, and more, but our best feedback comes from our users. See what they say about us here. We believe in rapid iteration and testing.
